2 - #2 cans sauerkraut - drained and squeezed
1 small can of water chestnuts - sliced
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup chopped green pepper
1 cup chopped red onion
1 jar pimento

DRESSING:
½ cup water
⅔ cup vinegar
1½ cup sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together all ingredients for salad.

DRESSING:
Mix ingredients together in sauce pan. Bring to a boil and pour over the salad.
This is best if made the day before and refrigerated. Serve in lettuce cups - round crispy leaves from iceberg lettuce.
