1/2 stick margarine
1/2 cup Crisco
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cup milk
2 Tbsp. cornstarch

Mix ingredients by creaming for 10 minutes at very high speed with mixer.

Let get cold before spreading! (Mom used the exclamation point, must be important)
