1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 c. dark syrup
4 eggs
3 Tbsp. milk
Salt
1 tsp. soda
5 c. flour
Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together in one big bowl. Mix together by hand, only add more flour if needed. Batter will be thick. Drop out on greased cookie sheet and then pat out with hand. Bake at 325 degrees until light brown. This is an old family recipe.
