Ingredients:  
Add dry ingredients, sift and set aside, 4 cups plain flour, 8 tablespoons cocoa, 3 teaspoons cinnamon, 1 teaspoon salt, 2 teaspoons soda, & 4 cups sugar. In Sauce pan heat butter and 2 cups coca-cola until the butter melts. Add the 4 eggs, 1 cup buttermilk, & 4 teaspoons vanilla. Add liquid to the dry ingredients, beat until smooth. The batter will be very thin. Pour into prepared pan and bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Ice cake while warm.
Icing:
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup coca-cola
6 T. cocoa
1 cup chopped pecans (Optional) (I don't use them)
2 tsp. vanilla
2 bags powdered sugar

Grease and flour an 11x17 in pan.
Icing: In a saucepan, heat the butter and Coca-Cola. Do no boil. Add all the remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour over cake.
