4 c. fresh picked blackberry's
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
my double crust pie crust recipe
2 Tbsp. milk
1/4 c. white sugar

Directions:
Directions:
1. Combine 3 1/2 c. berries with the sugar and flour. Spoon the mixture into an unbaked pie shell. Spread the remaining 1/2 c. berries on top of the sweetened berries, and cover with the top crust. Seal and crimp edges (I cut tin-foil into small long strips and put on crust so it doesn't burn). Brush top of crust with milk and sprinkle with 1/4 c. of sugar
2. bake at 425 ºF (220ºC) for 15 min. Reduce the temp of the oven to 375ºF (190ºC), and bake for an additional 20-25 min
