MEATBALLS:
3 lbs. hamburger
1 c. cracker crumbs
1 can evap. milk
2 eggs
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp pepper
2 tsp chili powder

SAUCE:
2 cups ketchup
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp liquid smoke
1/2 tsp. garlic powder

Directions:

Mix sauce ingredients together in bowl; blend well. Set aside. Combine all meatball ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Mix well with hands. Form into meatballs and place in pans and bake in oven at 350º for about 20 minutes or until browned. Meatballs may be frozen in ziplock bags for future use. Place meatballs in a deep roasting pan or crockpot. Pour Sauce over and stir gently. If you put meatballs in roasting pan, cover with foil and bake at 325º until hot and bubbly or heat in crockpot on low until hot throughout. * Frozen pre-made meatballs can also be used. The sauce can be made the day before and does not require refrigeration.
