1 c. sugar
2 c. water
3 tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
Roll peeled, sliced apple (1 small, or 1/2)
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Boil together: 1 cup sugar, 2 cups water, 3 tbsp. butter & 1/4 tsp. cinnamon. Roll peeled, sliced apple (1 small or 1/2) 1/2 cup sugar & 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon.
Dot sugar/cinnamon apple with real butter and seal edges of pie crust around apple to cover completely. Put raw dumplings in a deep pan and pour syrup around apples. Bake at 425º for 35 to 45 minutes.
