Ingredients:  
1 stick butter or margarine softened at room temperature
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup flour
¾ cup sugar
2 eggs
3 small or 2 large bananas (over ripened/brown)
1 ½ tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
Pinch of salt
1 can of cherry pie filling

Directions:
Directions:
In electric mixer, cream butter & sugar until light & fluffy
Add eggs gradually one at a time to incorporate
Sift dry ingredients and add a little at a time –batter will be thick
Grease and flour 13x9 pyrex
Spoon ½ of the batter on bottom of pan
Spoon the whole can of cherry pie filling over first layer of batter
Spoon remaining batter over filling –you do not have to spread as the batter will fill in during cooking to create a crust on top
Bake for 45 -50 mins at 350F
Once cooled, cut into squares and enjoy!
