2 c. canned pumpkin
3 c. sugar
1 c. water
1 c. vegetable oil
4 eggs
3 1/3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 t. salt
1 t. baking powder
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
3/4 tsp. ground cloves

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.

Combine all ingredients and mix until smooth.

Grease two 9x5-inch loaf pans and dust with flour. Divide batter between pans.

Bake for 60-70 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cover loosely with foil if tops are getting too brown before cooking is finished.

Cool in pans for 10-15 minutes and then remove from pans and cool on rack.

You can also make this recipe in mini loaf pans. Freezes well and good as gifts.
