Chill and drain mandarin oranges. Spoon into individual mandarin bowls. Top with a generous blob of whipped sour cream.

Bonnie was enchanted by the ridiculous simplicity of this recipe when it was served to her long ago during a trip to Greyfield Inn on Cumberland Island, Georgia. She served it hundreds of times thereafter over the years in her beautiful lotus bowls, or in elegant Fostoria glassware from her latest "antiquing" trip.
