Preheat oven to 375º
3-4 slices bacon, grated swiss cheese, 8 inch PARTIALLY COOKED pastry shell, 3 eggs, 2 cups whipping cream or half and half, 1/2 tsp salt, pinch of pepper, pinch of nutmeg, 2 tablespoons butter

Remember to preheat to 375º brown bacon in skillet and drain.
beat eggs, cream and seasonings in bowl until blended.

pour into partially cooked pastry shell and distribute butter pieces on top. Add grated swiss cheese to taste on top ...if you like swiss cheese don't be shy.
crumble bacon and sprinkle on top. Set pie plate on a cookie sheet in case some bubbles over. Set in upper third of preheated oven and bake for 25 -30 minutes or until quiche has puffed and browned
