2 cups scalded milk (cooled)
1 pkg yeast
3 eggs
2 cups lukewarm water
1/3 lb butter
¼ cup sugar
2 tsp salt
About 8 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in ½ cup of water and teaspoon sugar. Let stand for 10 minutes. Beat eggs; add melted butter, sugar, salt and liquids. Mix in some flour. Knead, adding flour until dough is fairly stiff. Allow to rise for 2 hours. Punch down, and let rise again. Grease round pans of any desired size. Make our each paska quite small in each pan. Allow to rise. Glaze by brushing the tops with beaten egg. Bake at 375˚F for the first 15 min. Reduce heat to 325˚F and continue baking for about 20 minutes or longer, depending on the size of the pan.
If you want your paska to have a shine, glaze with sugar and water after it is baked.
