10 slices buttered sourdough bread
1 pound grated sharp Cheddar cheese
1 quart milk
6 eggs
2 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. salt
1 pound cooked and crumbled bacon

Directions:
Directions:
Remove crusts and cube the buttered sourdough bread. Place bread in a buttered 9"x13" casserole. Top with grated cheese. In a bowl, mix together milk, eggs, dry mustard and salt. Pour mixture over bread and cheese. Refrigerate overnight. Bake, uncovered, for 45 minutes at 350º.
Top with crisp, crumbled bacon.

We put the bacon on top the night before. One less thing to do in the morning.
