29oz. can diced tomatoes
2 14oz. cans great northern beans
14oz. can chopped spinach, drained
2 14oz. cans chicken broth
8oz. can tomato sauce
3 c. water
1 T. minced garlic
8 slices crisp bacon, crumbled (may substitute browned ground beef)
1 T. dried parsley
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
1/2 tsp. dried basil
1/2 lb. seashell pasta
grated Romano cheese

Directions:
Directions:
In a large stock pot, combine tomatoes, beans, spinach, broth, sauce, water, garlic, bacon or beef, parsley, garlic powder, salt, pepper and basil; mix well. Bring to a boil, then let simmer 40 minutes, covered. Add pasta and cook uncovered until pasta is tender, approximately 10 minutes. Ladle and serve with cheese on top!
