1/2 c. softened butter or margarine
1 c. sugar
2 egg yolks
1-1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
2 egg whites beaten until stiff
1 recipe topper

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar; beat in egg yolks. Sift dry ingredients add alternately with milk, a little at a time, beating after each addition. Fold in egg whites. Pour into greased 9x9x2 pan. Sprinkle topper over. Bake at 350º about 30 minutes. Serve warm.

Topper
Mix 1/3 c. all purpose four and 1/4 c. brown sugar; cut in 2 tbsp. butter or margarine until crumbly.

This "Cinnamon Crumbs" topper will also work with either coffee cake.
Mix 1/2 c. sugar, 1/2 c. sifted all purpose flour, 1/2 t. cinnamon. Cut in 1/4 c. butter or margarine until crumbly.
