Melt in pan. Bring to a boil and set aside 1 stick margarine, 1/2 cup cooking oil,3 tablespoons cocoa, 1 cup water.

Combine in mixing bowl 2 cups flour, 2 cups sugar, 1/2 teaspoon salt

Pour cocoa mixture over flour mixture and beat until smooth. Then add 1/2 cup cup buttermilk, 2 egs, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1 teaspoon baking soda.

Pour in a long jelly roll pan and bake at 350 for 30 - 40 minutes. Frost while still warm with he following.

Melt but do not boil 1 stick margarine, 2 1/2 tablespoons cocoa, 2 tablespoons milk.

Pour over 1 box confectioners sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1 cup nuts. Mix well and pour over cake wile still hot.
