1 unbaked 9 inch deep dish pie shell, thawed
1 1/2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
6 slices bacon, diced or 4 oz of chopped ham
1/2 cup chopped onion
12 oz can evaporated milk
3 eggs
1/4 tsp each salt, pepper, nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Spread cheese in pie shell. Cook bacon and onion and drain fat. Place over cheese. Mix rest of ingredients and pour over bacon.
Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes, then at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes until set. Cool for 5 minutes or more. Serve.
