1 can (29 oz.) tomato puree
1 small can of whole tomatoes 3 or 4 med.
tomatoes unpeeled and chopped
2 cloves of garlic (pressed)
1/4 cup of fresh parsley, snipped or use dehydrated parsley
1/8 cup of basil or 1 tsp. to taste
2 tsps. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1tsp. sugar
2 lbs. of cooked shelled shrimp

Place all ingredients in crock pot except shrimp. Stir to combine. Cover and cook on low setting for 5 to 6 hrs. Add the shrimp and turn to high setting to heat through about 15 min. Serve over cooked spaghetti. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

This sauce can also be made in a large pot but you must first saute garlic with a little oil and then add tomatoes etc. Place shrimps in at last 15 minutes or so.

Any leftover sauce may be frozen. Use within 3 or 4 weeks for best flavor.
