3/4 cup sugar
2 Tbl. cornstarch
1 cup water
2 Tbl corn syrup
1/4 cup strawberry jello powder
1 loaf-shaped angel food cake (10-12 oz)
1 pkg. reduced fat cream cheese
2/3 cup powdered sugar
2 Tbl fat free milk
8 oz Cool Whip light or free
3 cups sliced strawberries

Directions:
Combine sugar and cornstarch in small pan. Whisk in water and corn syrup. Boil for 1-2 minutes until thick, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add jello. Cool to room temp, stirring occasionally.
Cut cake into 9 slices and place in 9 by 13 inch pan.
In large bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth, beat in milk. Add all but 1/3 cup Cool Whip to mixture. Spread over cake. Top with strawberries. Pour gelatin mixture over cake. Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours. Top with reserved Cool Whip.
