Directions:
In a bowl, mix cake mix and orange rind. Add eggs and liquid as directed on package. Pour batter into two greased and floured 9-in. layer cake pans. Bake as directed on package.
Un-mold layers and cool on a rack.
In saucepan, mix cornstarch and sugar. Gradually stir in cream and sour cream. Stir over low heat until sauce bubbles and thickens. Stir in cheese, one handful at a time until smooth and thick. Cool and then stir in vanilla. Chill until thick. Cut cake layers into two thin layers. Place cake layer on a serving platter; spread with 1/3 of the filling. Repeat layering, ending with plain cake layer. Sprinkle top with confectioner's sugar and decorate with an edelweiss candy flower.

Candy flower:
Snip small strips of marshmallow and shape in the form of a wheel. Repeat for two layers. Place tiny pieces of yellow gum drops in the center and cut thin slices of green gum drops into leaves and stems.
