Cake:

1 stick butter
1 box butter cake mix (or German chocolate)
1 egg

Filling:
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 box confectioner's sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix all cake ingredients; pour into 9 x 13-in. cake pan.
Filling:
Mix all ingredients and pour over cake mixture.
Bake at 350º for 45 minutes.
