1 box Duncan Hines Spice Cake Mix
1 c. blackberry jam
1/2 c. ground nuts (opt.)

Icing:
3/4 c. brown sugar
5 tbsp. milk
2 tbsp. water
1 tbsp. margarine

Cake:
Mix cake mix according to package directions. Mix jam and nuts in last; bake according to directions. Cool.

Icing:
Mix all ingredients; bring to a boil and boil for two minutes. Cool and add enough confectioners' sugar to spread over cake.
