2 c. flour
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. baking powder
Margarine
1/2 c. milk
1 egg, beaten
1 (10-oz.) jar apricot preserves
1/4 c. chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, sugar, and baking powder; cut in 1/2 c. margarine until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Reserve 1/2 c. for topping. Add milk and egg to crumb mixture, mixing just until moistened. Pour into greased 8-in. square pan; top with preserves. Sprinkle with nuts. Cut 1 tbsp. margarine into reserved crumb mixture. Sprinkle over nuts. Bake at 400º for 35 minutes; serve warm.
