Ingredients:
3/4 c. butter
1 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
2 T. water
12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 large eggs
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
Andes mint candies, broken in half

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Over low heat, combine butter, sugar, and water. Heat until melted and add chocolate chips until partially melted. Remove from heat and stir. Pour into large mixing bowl and let stand 10 minutes to cool slightly. Beat in eggs one at a time on high speed. Reduce to low speed and add flour, salt, and baking soda. Blend well. Chill for one hour (this will make the dough thicken and be easier to shape). Roll into balls and place on baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes. Once removed from the oven, place a mint half on top. Allow to melt slightly and spread with a spoon.
