2 c flour
2 sticks margarine
2 c sugar
2 lightly beaten eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sour cream
1 c water
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4c cocoa
ICING:
1 stick margarine
1 box confectioners'sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
7 Tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour, sugar and salt. On top of stove, bring to boil the 1 cup water, 1/4 cup cocoa
and 2 sticks margarine. Pour over flour mixture and blend. Add the eggs, sour cream and baking soda, beating well.

While cake is still baking, prepare icing by bringing to a boil 1 stick margarine, cocoa and milk.
Add 1 box confectioners' sugar and blend well. Add nuts and vanilla. Blend well. Cool cake 5 minutes and pour icing over it. Ice while cake is still warm. 375 degrees about 20 minutes
use a sheet cake pan
