2 egg whites (unbeaten)
11/2 cup sugar
dash of salt
1/3 cup water
2 tsp. white corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients except the vanilla and place in a double boiler. Beat one minute with electric hand mixer. Place over rapidly boiling water. Beat on high speed until the frosting forms peaks. (usually about 7 minutes, often called 7-minute frosting). Remove from heat, stir in vanilla. Beat for another minute. Frost

Really nice for frosting a sheet cake or bundt cake. Chocolate or yellow cake mix works well. Coat with coconut. Tip: this is delicious with a chocolate bunt cake, and coated with coconut.
