1 c. butter
1 c. Jif peanut butter (extra crunchy)
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar (firmly packed)
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour, all purpose
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
additional sugar for divided use

Directions:
Directions:
In large bowl, beat first 6 ingredients at medium speed until fluffy. In another bowl, blend the next 4 ingredients. Add the flour mixture to the peanut butter mixture and beat on low speed to blend. Shape into 1" balls, roll in sugar; place 2" apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350º 12-15 minutes or until browned. Removed from oven and immediately press Kiss onto cookie. Cool completely, then store in airtight container.
