1 12 oz. butterscotch morsels
1 1/2 cups butter or margarine
4 Tbsp boiling water
1 tsp baking soda
4 cups rolled oats (quick cooking)
2 cups flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Combine morsels and butter and melt in double boiler. Mix boiling water and baking soda and add to melted morsels. Combine all dry ingredients. Mix melted morsels into dry ingredients. Drop on ungreased cooked sheet. Bake @ 350 degrees for 7-10 minutes. Cookies are done when color is light brown. They will be very moist when you remove them from the oven. Let cool and they will turn crisp.
