3 2/3 c. sugar
2 sticks butter
1 stick margarine
6 eggs
3 2/3 c. flour, all purpose
1 c. milk
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream the sugar, butter and margarine together until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time. Add the flour and milk alternately, a little at a time, until well blended. Add baking powder and vanilla, mixing well. Turn into a greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 300 for 1 hour and 45 minutes. Let cake set for 10 minutes before removing from pan. Cool before slicing.
