2 c. sugar
2 eggs
3 c. flour
1 c. salad oil
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 T. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
3 c. fresh pears or apples

Directions:
Directions:
Blend all ingredients together and fold into a lightly greased and floured 9" X 13" pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes until done.
Cut into individual squares and store in an airtight
container when cool.

Sprinkle cinnamon over fresh fruit before folding into batter. Substitute 1 T. walnut flavoring for 1 T. of the vanilla for a rich flavor.
