2 2/3 cups milk or cream
2 2/3 cups chicken stock
1 1/3 cups yellow cornmeal or polenta
1 1/3 cups Romano cheese
2 cups spaghetti sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º Grease 9-in. square baking dish

In a large pot, bring milk & stock to a rolling boil. Gradually whisk in the cornmeal or polenta making sure there are no lumps. Reduce heat to low and continue to stir until the polenta is thick, about 5 min. Remove from heat and stir in the cheese.

Pour the polenta into the pan, spread the sauce over the top.

Bake 10 minutes or until the sauce is bubbling.

This is very easy and so good. It can be used as a main dish with a salad or just a side dish. When my friend Fr. Rich visits, he always requests polenta, his favorite dish. Really good leftover as well. Double this recipe for a main dish.
