6 Granny Smith apples, peeled and sliced
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup white sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/8 tsp. cloves
1/8 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Place apples in a nonstick saucepan with butter. Cook for several minutes. Add sugars,spices and vanilla and continue cooking until apples are tender, about 15-20 minutes over low heat.
