1 cup flour
shake of salt
1 egg
Add water until real sticky like soft taffy
Swiss cheese (grated)
butter

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together the above ingredients.

Take pot of boiling salt water until boiling rapidly. Take teaspoon and dip into hot boiling water FIRST, then pick up mixture and drop into water. If it forms a ball and floats up, it's good. Keep adding teaspoons of mixture (remembering to dip spoon in hot water first each time) until finished. Stir. When they're all floating on top they're done.

Strain in strainer. Put back in pot with no water, Put 2 tbsp. butter and grated Swiss cheese. Stir. Add more to taste.

These can now be eaten like dumplings, OR you can fry them.

TO FRY:

After straining them, put back in frying pan with butter and fry until brown and crispy on the outside.
