1/2 lb Jimmy Dean Hot sausage, cooked and drained
1 cup (4oz) shredded cheese
1 can (4oz) mushroom's stems and pieces, drained
1/4 cup finely chopped green pepper
1 tbsp dried minced onion
1 frozen deep-dish pastry shell 9" (Mrs.Smith) or equivalent
5 eggs, beaten
3/4 cup half and half cream ( I use canned milk)
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper

Directions:
Directions:
In a bowl, combine sausage, cheese, mushrooms, green pepper and onion, sprinkle into pastry shell. Combine eggs, cream, salt and pepper, pour over sausage mixture.

Bake at 375º for 35-40 minutes or until a knife inserted near center comes out clean.. Let stand for 10 minutes before cutting.

This is a really yummy receipe. This is from Betty Davis who lives next door. She brought this over to us after your grandma LaVeta passed away and it is so good. She said she always doubles this receipe and use 10-11 eggs only 1 can of mushrooms.
