6-8 large ripe peaches, peeled and sliced
2 1/2 tbsp cornstarch
3/4 to 1 cup sugar
Crust:
1 cup flour
2 egg yolks
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup sugar
2 egg whites stiffly beaten.

Directions:
Directions:
Combine peaches, cornstarch and sugar, place in a greased 9x 13 inch baking pan.

For crust, combine flour, egg yolks, butter, baking powder, and sugar in a mixing bowl. Gently fold in egg whites. Spread over peaches. Bake at 375º for about 45 minutes or until the fruit is bubbling around edges and the top is golden.

This is the last receipe that your grandma Ross wrote down, she thought this sound so good. We never got to make it but I keep it and hope someone tries it. There is a question about the amount of sugar that goes in the crust but anyone trying this will have do it by amounts that are there and adjust later if necessary.
