3 cans Chicken (canned-283 gm)
1 cup Dried mix veggies
(corn/green beans/ peas/carrots)
1 onion chopped
2 cans Cream of celery soup (284ml)
(can dry to make it more light weight)
1/2 cup (1 1/2 cup liquid) milk powder
1 tsp parsley
1 bay leaf
1/2 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp thyme
1 tsp sage

pastry topping:
1 1/2 cups Flour
1/2 tsp salt
2/3 cups shortening
4 Tbsp water

Directions:
Directions:
Simmer dried veggies until rehydrated. Melt butter in 12 " dutch oven. Cook onions until tender. Add condensed soup (rehydrate before if using dried). Stir until smooth. Add milk gradually while stirring. Add chicken and spices. Drain veggies and add to dutch oven. To make pastry, cut shortening into flour/salt. Add water GRADUALLY. Lightly mix with fork until it forms a ball. Roll or pat out into a 10" circle. Place on top of chicken mixture. Bake at 425º for 20 min.
Serves 6 people
