How to slice an avocado:
1. Slice avocado in half lengthwise. When you hit the middle of the avocado, there will be a huge pit. Cut around it
2. Take both halves of avocado and separate from each other. The pit will come out with one side. Take knife and carefully slide under pit. Lift knife up and pit should come out
3. Take knife and slice ½ inch thick pieces. Once done that, turn avocado half upside down and push lightly all around the skin of the avocado, and avocado slices should fall out
