4 c. blueberries, and blackberries, or mixed berries of your choice
1/2 c. unsweetened applesauce
1/4-1/2 c. sugar
3 T. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
dash of salt
1 tsp. butter
2 pie crusts

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 400º.

In a large bowl, mix together the sugar, flour, cinnamon, and salt. Add the berries and applesauce and mix together well.

Place one pie crust in the bottom of a 9" pie plate. Coat the bottom crust with a thin layer of butter. Pour the berry mixture into the pie crust. After cutting vent holes into the top crust, place it on top of the pie and crimp the edges closed.

Bake at 400º for 35-40 minutes.
