2 sticks butter, softened
1 8 oz pkg cream cheese, softened
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
3 c. cake flour
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter and cream cheese until creamy, add sugar and mix well. Add eggs two at the time, mix well after each addition. Add vanilla. Combine flour and baking powder and add to creamed mixture in two additions,. Mix just until blended well.
Pour into a greased and floured tube pan and bake at 325º for one hour and 15 min., or until a straw comes out clean. Cool in pan for 20 minutes, remove and cool completely.
