2 recipeis in one! Dad's and Little Grandma's from Italy
Dads:
3 cups sugar
1/2 gallon water
1 1/2 bottle of anise flavoring (less if you are using oil)
3 qt whiskey

Little Grandma:
1 qt 188 proof grain alcohol
1 gallon water
3 cups sugar
2 bottles anise flavoring (less if it is oil)
red food coloring

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar and water in a pot and boil to make syrup. Mix with anise flavor and alcohol (whiskey or grain alcohol depending on what recipe) Add red food coloring. Makes 5 quartz.
