1c-Mini Marshmallows
2c-(2-10oz Pkgs)Frozen, Sliced Strawberries in syrup, completely thawed
1 pkg-Strawberry Flavored Gelatin
2 1/4c-Pilsbury Best All Purpose Flour
1 1/2c-Sugar
1/2c-Solid Shortening
3tsp-Baking Powder
1/2tsp-Salt
1c-Milk
1tsp-Vanilla
3 Eggs

Generally grease bottom only of a 13x9 in. baking pan; sprinkle marshmallows evenly over bottom of pan. Thoroughly combine completely thawed strawberries and syrup with dry gelatin; set aside. (No need to sift flour, measure by lightlyspooning into cup and leveling off.) In large mixing bowl combine remaining ingredients. Blend at low speed until moistened, beat 3 mins at medium speed, scraping sides of bowl ocassionally. Pour batter evenly over marshmallows in prepared pan. Spoon strawberry mixture evenly over batter.

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 min until golden brown and toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

Serve warm or cool with ice cream or whipped cream.

If using Pillsbury Best Self Rising Flour omit baking powder and salt

High Altitude Adj- 5200 feet Decrease baking powder to 2 1/2 tsp. Bake 375 degrees for 40 to 45 mins.
