5 large eggs
3 cups Swans Down Cake Flour
1 cup whole milk
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring

Directions:
Set all ingredients out until they are room temperature, at least three-hours. Cream Crisco, sugar and butter together. Add eggs one at a time - mixing well after each addition. Add cake flour, and milk alternately - mixing well after each addition. One cup of flour at the time, and one-third cup of milk at the time. After all ingredients are blended real well, add vanilla flavoring and blend well. Pour batter into a well-greased large tube pan (grease pan with Crisco shortening also). Place pan with batter into a COLD oven and bake for one 1 hour and 30 minutes (1 1/2 hours) at 350º. Remove from oven and let cool in pan - uncovered - for 10-15 minutes. Dump cake on cake plate and enjoy!
