Cut loaf into 1/2 inch thick slices. Preheat oven to 300º. Lay slices on a baking sheet that has been lined with parchment paper or use a rack that elevates the bread. Bake bread slices until they are dry and crisp. The time depends on the bread and how moist it is but usually it is about 15 minutes.
