Crust
1 cup butter
2 cup confectioners sugar
2 cup flour

Filling
4 eggs well beaten
2 cups sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 cup flour
1 cup shredded coconut ( optional)
4 tsp lemon juice
Grated rind of 2 lemons

Directions:
Directions:
Crust: Mix all together and spread evenly in a greased 9x13 (*or 10x15) pan. Bake for 15 minutes in a preheated 350 degree oven until very pale tan. Cool.

Filling: Mix all ingredients. Pour over crust and bake at 350 for 25 minutes. Cool and cut into squares.

*original recipe was for 10x15 jelly roll pan.. Use 9x13 for thicker bars.
