2 eggs
3/4 c. sugar (reduce to 1/2 c. if desired)
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
2 c. pumpkin (1 small can)
1 2/3 c. evaporated milk
1 deep dish pie crust

Beat eggs, then add sugar, milk, and spices. Add pumpkin and mix on medium speed.

Lightly rub butter on the inside of the pie crust shell, then fill with pumpkin mixture. Bake for 60-75 minutes at 375º, or until stiff in the center.

If the edges of the crust start to burn, cover loosely with tin foil until fully baked.
