5 Sweet potatoes
2 lbs. flour (31/2 cups per pound)
3 tins of coconut milk
2 lbs. brown sugar (2 cups per pound)
2 liter water. (4 cups)
4 tablespoons vanilla
1/2 lb. melted butter
Salt, nutmeg, ginger, & cinnamon powder to taste

Wash, peel and grate potatoes, combine all dry ingredients. Flour can be sifted to avoid lumps by choice. Then add liquid or moist ingredients including butter together. Mix together until all ingredients are combined. Grease baking pan with butter, pour contents into baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 90 minutes

We had this while in Jamaica. The waitress sent the recipe to our room because the kids liked it so much. This is a copy of the recipe exactly as I received it. I made it once. Guess I am not Jamaican. Mine was not very good. Good. Luck
