3-4 garlic cloves, chopped
3 large carrots, cut diagonally into thin (1/8") slices
1/2 large cabbage, cut like slaw
4 green onions, sliced, include most of tops
1-2 lb of uncooked meat (pork, beef, chicken, shrimp or sausage) - your choice
1 pkg dry rice noodles (in the oriental food section)
2 T soy sauce
salt to taste

Prepare vegeatables.

Prepare meat:
Cut pork, beef or chicken into bite-size pieces, do not trim all of fat off.
Clean and devein shrimp.
Brown and drain sausage.

Soak rice noodles in a large bowl of hot water until soft.
Drain.

In the wok, brown garlic and meat in oil.
Add vegetables and cooked sausage.
Add a small amount of soy sauce (approximately 2 T).
Simmer for 10 minutes.
Add a small amount of salt if needed.

Add drained noodles, mix and cook over low heat until thoroughly heated and cooked (about 20 minutes).

This recipe was taught to me by Filipino friends. It is a great dish to serve with Adobo (see poultry recipes). Add different ingredients and experiment!
