1 lb butter, melted
1 dozen eggs
1& 1/2 cup sugar
1 ounce anise flavoring
1 ounce vanilla
5 cups flour
6 tsp. baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat pizzelle iron-lightly brushed with vegetable oil.
Mix liquid ingredients and sugar together in a large bowl. Mix dry ingredients together and gradually add to wet batter.
After iron is hot, add 1 tbsp. batter to each iron. Shut and hold closed for about 50 seconds. Most irons have "ready" lights. Peel off iron with a fork. Let each cookie cool before stacking. They can be frozen.
