Ingredients:  
1 box Chewy Fudge Brownie mix
3/4 cup Pistachio nuts, shelled and chopped (reserve 1/4 cup for cream layer)
3/4 cup Maraschino cherries, patted dry and chopped (reserve 1/4 cup for cream layer)

Cream Layer
2 c butter, room temperature
6 c confectioners' sugar
1 box vanilla instant pudding
1 box pistachio instant pudding
8 tbsps.. milk
2 tsp. almond extract
2 drops green and red food coloring

Directions:
Directions:
1. Prepare brownie batter according to pkg (for cake-like brownies).
2. Mix 1/2 cup each of pistachios and cherries into batter.
3. Pour batter into 9" greased square pan.
4. Bake 30-40 minutes at 350º
Cream Layer
5. On medium high speed, beat 1 cup butter until fluffy, set aside.
6. In medium bowl combine3 cups powdered sugar & dry pistachio pudding mix; mix well.
7. Gradually beat in sugar/pudding mixture into butter. Add4 tbsps. milk, and 1 tsps. almond extract.
8. Fold in 1/8 cup pistachios.
9. Repeat steps 5,6, and 7, using vanilla instant pudding
10. Fold in 1/8 cup cherries.
Spread each layer over cooled brownies.

refrigerate 1-2 hours before cutting into squares
serve immediately
