2 c scalded milk
1 1/2 c sugar
1/2 t salt
2 T butter
8 T flour
5 T cocoa
3 egg yolks
1 t vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Scald milk in top of a double boiler. Mix flour, sugar, and cocoa together until it looks brown. Add mixture to milk and stir constantly for about 10 minutes. Add salt and vanilla. Beat egg yolks in a small bowl and add a small amount of the chocolate mixture to the eggs and stir well. Stir in egg mixture slowly into the chocolate mixture and cook stirring constantly for about 5 minutes. Add butter and mix well. Place in a baked pie shell and top with meringue.
